About the seminar

We work in the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning (DSB), in the electrical safety section.

The responsibility for ensuring electrical safety in Norway in accordance with laws and regulations lies with DSB, but also with the Local Electrical Inspection.

We will talk about how this industry relates to the applicable regulations, and how we can work together to create a safe and reliable electrical industry moving forward.

Vocational qualifications, professional responsibility, design, construction, operation, and maintenance will be part of the topic.

Tom Jonberg

Tom Jonberg, regulations manager for the regulation on electrical enterprises and qualification requirements for work related to electrical installations and electrical equipment.

Kjetil Solberg

Kjetil Solberg, regulations manager for the regulation on electrical low-voltage installations.
